  42. Interesting observation. We are a small ISP with MultiTech Modems. Recently,
  43. we "flashed" all of our MT1432MR's to 2.10A firmware and began to get
  44. complaints about dropped connections. After about a week of trying to
  45. tweak settings, mostly $R1 to not disconnect after 12 retransmits, we went
  46. back to 2.08A and the disconnect problem disappeared. Also, retransmits
  47. virtually disappeared also.
