- Interesting observation. We are a small ISP with MultiTech Modems. Recently,
- we "flashed" all of our MT1432MR's to 2.10A firmware and began to get
- complaints about dropped connections. After about a week of trying to
- tweak settings, mostly $R1 to not disconnect after 12 retransmits, we went
- back to 2.08A and the disconnect problem disappeared. Also, retransmits
- virtually disappeared also.
